3000 N100, how to get POST messages and text mode to VGA?

Story is this: My sister broke her N100 and I removed lid with lcd display. It worked fine until she messed up her Windows. 
Now I need to reinstall it, but it's almost impossible in "blind mode". So, is it possible to get POST messages and Windows installation to show on external monitor?
