bad colors on y570

i am a photographer and mainly used my macbook for photo editing which has a great screen with great colors.
i just got a y570 and the colors are horrible ( everything else i love). i compared a recent headshot of a client on both laptops. my y570 is all washed out, pale, and blue. she looked like a zombie!
anyone else been able to fix colors on the y570 or increase saturation? i am even thinking of buying a calibration kit but can it even work with this laptop?
