Sorry if this is really dumb, but lets say I want to access my Bank of America account and I am using a Yoga w Win 8 (full version).
Do I go to Explorer or another browser to access it, which I would probably do if I were in Laptop mode, or do I access via a Win8 App which I might do if I were in Tablet mode, like I would do on my iPad??? Guess I'm not sure what the difference is between a Program and an App???
Or are both available. Or isn't the Yoga a tablet in the sense of an iPad??
Also, I use Office 2007, Is that usable on the Yoga, or do I need a Win 8 version of Office.
Again, I apologize, but this stuff is getting very confusing.
Thx.
Frank

I would use the specially created Windows 8 Bank of America tablet app. This would be a similar experience to your ipad. However, it would be personal preference, as you have the option to do either one. Office 2007 will work just fine with Windows 8.
Oh, one more thing: QUIT APOLOGIZING! No question is really dumb.

Re: yoga/Win8 confusion
Which Yoga are you talking about...?
The 11" model comes with Windows RT and Office 2013 pre-installed. You cannot install Windows 8 on it and cannot run traditional desktop program/software/app.
The 13" model runs Windows 8 and is compatible with Office 2007.
To me, an "app", as used these days, is a name that can be translated into "software", "utility", "program" and "application" depending on the context. It's probably made famous by Steve Jobs and the original iPhone/iOS "appstore", the rest is history.
In a certain sense, you may say the browser is also an app.
You may want to read up a little bit about all these Windows RT, ARM, Windows 8, WinRT, Metro, Windows 8 style, Windows Store differences. CNET has a relatively short and concise primer and Ars Technica has a more in-depth explanation.
As of writing, BoA doesn't seem to have a dedicated "Windows Store App" (yes, that's the latest official name) yet.
Cheers.

Re: yoga/Win8 confusion
Good info on the differences between Win 8 RT and real Win 8. However, BoA has had an app since before RTM was released. If you go to the Finance section, it is the very first app on the list:loyukfai wrote:Which
