Is the Yoga 13 upgradable

BB sells the Yoga 13 w 4 GB RAM. Can I buy an extra 4 and add it or replace it myself w 8, or does that have to be purchased that way??

Also the SD Card reader. Does anyone know if I have to use only an SD or can I use the SDHC and or SDXC??

Also, if I order it from Lenovo, will they "leave it on the porch" or does someone have to be home to sign for it. For instance, Apple requires a signature at delivery.
I've had issues w some other computer purchases in the past. If no one is home, the "delivery company" won't leave it. Pain to run around and have to get it. May as well just buy it from a store then.

Thx.

Frank

I believe you can replace the memory fairly easily on the Yoga, but it is not considered a customer replaceable unit, meaning do so may have consequences for you warranty. If you're just doing typical usage 4GB is probably plenty.

When I got my X220i I had to sign for it. Unless it's changed, I think you'll have to do the same.

Darn, my wife and I work during the week.
I've heard that the Yoga 128 GB HD is partitioned so that you only have 40 GB actually available.
Also heard there is a work around on that to get some of that back.
Does Office take a lot of space. I won't have a lot on the 128 GB HD machine, but 40 GB does get a bit tight. iTunes, Music, few video's, etc. Stat-O-Matic baseball, Diamond Mind Baseball (essentials) :D
I store pics on the web and on my phone. So that's not a huge issue. I'm sure I'll put a bunch of apps on there.

I believe Lenovo released a patch to fix the unorthodox partitioning on the Yoga. I've not used Office in years, but I can't imagine that it would be too big.

Besides being able to upgrade the RAM, there is a second mSata slot for another 128GB hard drive and many have done this successfully. But you will probably do fine with the 128 if you are keeping pics and music in the cloud. The patch to recover partitioned hd space is very simple.
