Searched and could not find good responses anywhere so I bring this on plate here.

Can this notebook support DDR3 1.35V or 1.5V only?

This is for mom's notebook (good thing we bought for her and worked many years, prior computer was asus netbook that killed it's processor just in a year. Which is dreadfully common. :P

DDR3 ram with 1.35v can run fine with 1.5v.

if you put a 1.35v in a sandybridge laptop, it will run at 1.5v.

Re: Lenovo G570 (sandy bridge) memory voltage? Solved. UPDATE.

Solved. Memory voltage is 1.5V for sandy bridge only and ditto to first gen i cores as well.

Either 8 or 16 chip per memory module works fine but matched pair is a must. Older (first gen i stuff) 3 digit i core series does not support 8 chip modules even did boot but windows just sits there right after bios post event.
