Hi,

I've placed an order for an IdeaPad 5 15" with a Ryzen 7 4800u and the 2.6mm screen (100%RGB) on July 27th and after several several emails reporting a delay I now have an estimate for it to be shipped on October 30th.
Anyone has any ideas as to why this is taking so long?

Only because everything always takes longer than they say it does.

If they told me 'Next week' I would take that to mean in two months.

That seems a bit harsh. Even though it makes a lot of sense, at the same time.
Because I'm struggling to find a rational explanation, even considering a shortage of some components.
It's 3 freakin' months...
