factory screen protector maybe?

#1 Post by slagmi » Sun Jun 12, 2022 6:56 pm

Might a Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook (or any current Lenovo touch screen offering) come with plastic on the screen that should be removed, or a factory screen protector?
I had a look at the screen in direct sunlight, and I just want to start digging at the edge and peeling. But I'm 99.5% sure that's a bad idea. Nothing found in the sparse documentation..

You can buy those protectors separately on Amazon, eBay, et. al., so probably not ex factory.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Thanks in fact it reminds me of those 2$ "tempered glass" cheapie screen protectors you can buy for the phone.
It's a model 13ITL6. Otherwise a pretty nice Chromebook with good performance and battery life.
And to be fair the screen is.perfectly readable in direct June sunlight.
