U330 Keyboard interchangable with X300?

#1 Post by pojo » Sun Aug 24, 2008 12:34 pm

I just bought a U330. Upon further review of the pictures, the keyboard configuration is somewhat strange, with a small left shift and a large Enter key.

Is it possible to buy an X300 (or some other) keyboard for the machine?

I'd love to, if possible.

Nope, not possible ... X300 keyboard will not fit in a U330 ... it seems as if you have a UK style keyboard in your U330 ... maybe you can get a US style keyboard for it. Contact Lenovo support and they'll tell you.

Oooh, actually I just saw a picture of it, as my U330 has not yet arrived. So there's hope that it'll be a keyboard I'm used to. :)

Impossible, X300 is a ThinkPad, U330 is an IdeaPad. I have both laptops and they are quite different as is to be expected.
