Accidental Damage Protection

#1 Post by josh999 » Thu Oct 02, 2008 11:12 pm

I recently ordered an S10 with 3 years warranty/ADP add on. The ADP has what I interpret as an ambiguous clause. I quote it below:

"C. Coverage Period: The coverage period shall begin on the warranty start date of the covered product and will expire at the end of the term specified in Your Invoice. Notwithstanding the above, the coverage period will end prior to the expiration date of this Agreement if we have, as a result of service provided to You, replaced Your product." (bold mine).

What does that mean? If they replace it after 2 months, the warranty ends? Or earlier when?

It appears you only get one ADP claim then the coverage ends. Makes sense since they would have continuous claims from people possibley abusing their computers knowing they would be covered.

I don't read it as ambiguous at all.
