"Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your feedback.
We apologise to inform you that, most probably there will not be any Hardware Maintenance Manual and Parts Manual released for IdeaPad S12.
There is only User Guide for IdeaPad S12 available in the following URL:

Please do contact your nearest Support Center for further assistance.

The above email was received in response to my inquiry as to when the S12 HWMM and Parts Manual would be available as they were for other ideaPad models. In an earlier phone inquiry to the Support Center regarding this I was told that "Customers are not allowed inside the S12" and "we will not honor the warranty if the covers have been removed". Further conversation of course clarified that the warranty would be honored unless the customer obviously damaged the machine.
Could this be an indication that Lenovo will no longer provide customers with access to HWMM and Parts information as they have in the past?
Thank you for your feedback.
