Ideapad or netbook to test Win7

#1 Post by dwallace » Sun Oct 18, 2009 5:27 pm

Ganglia,

I drive a T43 using XP-Pro and don't want to mess with that while test-driving Win7. Because I'd like to travel light, I've been looking at the S-10 and seeking tips on which models/specs make sense for a clean Win7 install.

There are some models advertising Win7 Starter or upgrade-eligible. Anyone out there already using the Playskool-size notebooks with a full version?

Thanks
David

If it was today, as in before EOD today, I'd go for the Logicbuy Ideapad U350 deal for $449. That is an outstanding bargain and it's a much better machine than an S10, more powerful, yet very light and portable. Deal expires 10/18/2009.
