S12 Ion and Port Replicator

Has anyone tried the ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video with an S12 Ion? According to ipbook, it only works with the S9 and the S10 (unless I'm reading it wrong).

I bought s12's for my 3 teenage daughters this Christmas and took the opportunity to try one out on the ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video. It worked great - no problems at all in the hour I spent with it.
