X220: Bluetooth mouse disappears from Devices & Pointers

I recently bought this X220. I had installed the Logitech software/drivers for my trusty V270 bluetooth mouse and everything worked great.

Sometime in the last week, the mouse has quit working. Bluetooth radio is on, of course, and fresh batteries are in the mouse. I have re-installed the bluetooth mouse over and over, but, as soon as I do, in the Control Panel/Devices and Printers window, I see it added, but then, before my eyes, it disappears!

I am guessing there is something in the latest Windows 7 updates that is messing with the Logitech driver. I have the most recent Logitech driver downloaded.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I ended up removing all Logitech software/drivers, and reinstalling the bluetooth mouse solely through the Control Panel/Bluetooth Devices.

Works fine now.

Final update:

It only worked for a half hour and then, disappeared again from my Bluetooth Devices. I finally located a thread on the Logitech forum that stated that my Logitech V270 does not work under Windows 7.

Time for a new mouse!
