sound level X201s

The maximum level of the sound from headphones of my X201s is well inferior to the maximum in my T41p.
Is there a way (system setting, or whatever) to improve the level, or this is a limit of the system?

Are you running Windows 7? I've had issues with it not being too quiet before, on my desktop I fixed it by installing sound drivers. My X200s is super loud, I usually keep it under 1/10 of maximum.

Ok, I will try to reinstall the sound drivers and see what happens.
