X200s Screen Compatibility Question
I broke my out-of-warranty X200s' (7465-CTO) screen, and am trying to figure out how to get a suitable replacement for it. The problem is, there seem to be several different types of screens available for an X200s, and I don't know which one will fit into my machine. I don't know what kind of connector type or backlight typ I have. All I know is that on my order form, the part number and description for the screen are: 45M3027 and SBB 12.1WXGA2X3ULTCONN.IIANT. I'm wondering if, just going by that info, anyone could help me figure out what criteria a replacement screen would have to meet in order to work on my machine? I'd really appreciate the help if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

Re: X200s Screen Compatibility Question
If your screen is a 1440x900 one, It's easy: there is only one option, not only there is a single provider for lenovo, there is only a single kind of 1440x900 screen ever built.
If your screen is 1280x800 it can be a led unit or a ccfl unit. The CCFL unit can be also directly replaced with the Hydis AFFS unit that many user replaced, because hugely better than the standard X20x screen.
Basically you can replace the display with the same FRU number, you can also think to upgrade (eg from 1280x800 to 1440x900, or from the standard unit to the AFFS unit) but depending on the starting and ending point you may have to replace a flat cable, a flat cable + inverter, or the whole upper mount of the display.
45M3027 is not the FRU number, you should be able to find it here

or, obviously on the part iself.
