Hi guys,
Need some help here. I'm looking to purchase a Thinkpad X220 w/ SSD but I am confused to why the I7 is cheaper then the i5. When I click on the i7 it states to subtract $80.00.
The i7 is 2.8ghz with 4mb of cache where as the i5 is 2.6 and 2.5ghz with 3mb if cache.
Here is the link of my order page.

I contacted tech support and sales support and they had no idea. There advice was to call in the morning

It's not unheard of for one better configuration to price less than another similar less specced machine. Sometimes it's just best to accept the gift and move along.

I have t42p that I still use till this day with 1600x1200 resolution. Waited this long, so I am hoping either new models come out or at least a better resolution.

That's the only thing holding me back too, I've gotten pretty used to 1440x900 on my X200s... Hopefully we'll see a "X221" or something this year with a higher resolution.
