I am grieving deeply the loss of Navi 4 way controller in X220T. I have found it incredibly useful when editing PDFs with my X61T for scrolling pages. Unfortunately, two finger touch is not particularly useful here and flicks are useless there.
I was wondering whether it would be possible to remap X220T bezel buttons for ScrollUP and ScrollDOWN? I have absolutely no use for POWER and LOCK buttons and it appears those are precisely the buttons that you can't remap with Lenovo tablet PC settings utility.
Any ideas? 3rd party utilities, registry hacks, anything... please help, it really kills a lot of joy of using X220T for me!
Thanks a lot
EDIT: After some research it appears that can't be done without Lenovo engineers updating tablet button utility. Basically, power button is a hardware button and most 3rd party software do not see it even after I unassigned it in the powermanager, e.g. ATNSOFT Key Manager. As to the Lock button, it is mapped to Alt+Cltr+Del and this combination can't be remapped in Win7 as it passed straight to the kernel. It is a security issue.
Now, does anybody knows how to contact Lenovo software engineers with feature request? Is it at all possible? Realistically doable?
remapping X220T bezel buttons?
