Can I configure Trackpoint for vertical-only scrolling?

Several sites I visit use the keyboard's left/right arrows to page through the site.

I use the Tackpoint (w/ middle button) to scroll.

The problem is that when I use the Trackpoint to scroll, often it winds up registering a little bit of horizontal motion.

When that happens, I'm accidentally shuttled off to some other page -- it's pretty annoying!

Is there any way to configure the Trackpoint for vertical-only scrolling?

Or some way to configure Chrome (the browser I use)?
