I just did the same mod less than 24 hrs ago. I just tear off the tape of the antenna end, wrap around and place it in the area at the right end of your picture across the silver bar. I tested the wireless strength before I close it up again. It didn't affect anything at all.
As I need to place the wire above the vertical silver metal bar and I was worry the lcd bezel will not be flush when I close it, but it turns out I was worry too much.
This is one of the easiest LCD assembly I've ever worked on a thinkpad.
Hope this helps.
Tony

i just don't how you reattach the antenna , because it had kind of tape attached it that goes all the way till behind the bazel screen
and i don't know if its important or not ..
what did you do with it ?
just tear it away
or
disassembly the screen also to finish it ?
thanks again for your help.

I detached the screen by un-screw 6 screws so I can lift the LCD screen up a bit to carefully lift the tape attaching the antenna end. I thought I might need to re-use the silver tape.
Knowing what I knew now, I'll probably just rip ( or tear, in your term ) the tape away, as I don't need to re-tape the antenna. I'll probably still un-screw and lift the LCD, because I found that I need to remove a protective plastic covering the end of the electronic ribbon that plugs into the camera module. Without lifting the LCD, it's very difficult to rip out the plastic.
Let me know if you any other questions.

thanks Tony for answer me
In my case I've got to remove the protective plastic cover without un-screw the screen away.
so basically under your succssesfal assumption it's seems to me that i just rip it out.
can you tell me just where did you put the antenna after relocation ? i just don't want this interrupt my WiFi signal
thanks again really appreciate it man

Hi to all..
just want to update for anyone who was faced with my problem
I finished installing the camera and have some notes to share with you
-> It simply move from place to place antennas if they interfere with the way. without damage they signal
- not all camera kits comes from factory in the perfect size ( I sand mine so it will sit correctly in place )
hope that it's help for someone.

Hi
I just cut the antenna, thats on the way of the cam. Looks like this is the cell modem antenna.
But after installing, windows says: Usb web cam with the windows drivers, or integrated cam with the lenovo ones.
In both cases - no image. Anyone HELP? I'm running XP.

Hi All,
Recently bought a used x200. Got a web cam upgrade from ebay and instal it. That was the easy part.
After a long fight with drivers, I have the camera enabled in bios, recognized in device manager, recognized by connection manager - Fn + F6, Both programs can open the camera settings. Everything looks OK, but no image.
Anyone with ideas what's going on?

can you please describe where to enable it in the BIOS? I've installed a cam in my X200, but my laptop doesn't recognize any new device in Windows and I can't find any option in BIOS.. Thanks
