It's not worth it. Given how cheap RAMs are these days, you are much better off adding extra RAM to your laptop.

When the "turbo memory" concept first came into existence, mainstream laptops had only about 1GB or less memory. Harddisks were cheap, but RAMs and SSD weren't, and "turbo memory" was kind of the bridge between them, both in terms of price and performance. Even then, the performance improvement wasn't significant. I remember reading tests with various RAM and harddisk configurations. You would really see performance improvement only if your machine has less than 1GB of RAMs. Once you have 2GB+ RAM or a fast harddisk, this thing is essentially useless.
