I've got a sticky key on my x200 so thought I'd replace this. Any advice on if i can trust getting a replacement off ebay (US or international?). Or is it best to go through Lenovo directly?
I'm going to do the same with my old x60s as well, and replace a broken fan, it is still the best laptop I've ever owned. Any good sources of parts for this in US?
thanks in advance

I'm not aware of any knock-off keyboards. I bought some on eBay and they were all genuine. Just make sure you buy the right one and keep an eye on its condition (new vs. used).

Be sure to use a very highly rated seller on ebay. Don't necessarily go for the cheapest supplier.

thanks, that's very good advice. In saying I need to get right one. I'm assuming if it says they are compatible with my x200 that this will be enough. Or do I need to remove the old one and check part number first?

I've seen an auction on eBay for single keys (including the "latch") from an X200 keyboard:

Not certain if New Zealand keyboard is the US version, if it is the part numbers are 42T3737 or 42T3671. Also note that the x201 uses the same keyboard. Probably a good idea to remove the keyboard to check the part number. Only buy from an ebay vendor that displays the part number.
Good luck.

I bought my computer in US, so am using a standard keyboard. I pulled it out and ordered one off ebay. Will see if it goes in easily in next couple of days.
