Will ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 fit X230 (or X220) Tablet?

I am considering to purchase an X230 Tablet. I currently have T410S and have 2 ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 docking stations. I tried to figure out whether I can use these docking stations with X230 Tablet, but couldn't get a clear answer because there are some conflicting information.

X230 Tablet is not out yet, but I heard it is basically the same as X220 Tablet (other than USB 3) when it comes to the connectivity. Is there any current owner of X220 Tablet who is using a Mini Dock Series 3 with it? I would really appreciate if you could help me figure this out. Thank you!!!

The dock is not compatible with the tablet out of the box, but can be made to fit. See here:

I tried to place an order of X230T, and I realized that, in the option selections, it lists Mini Dock Series 3 (with USB3) as an option. This implies that X230T should work with Mini Dock Series 3 with USB3. If this is not an error, this means that (1) X230T has been modified to fit Mini Dock Series 3 (without modification) or (2) Mini Dock Series 3 with USB3 is different from the one without USB3.

Also, it is not clear to me whether X220/230T will fit with the dock with a higher capacity battery (6-cell) because the battery adds quite a bit of height.

Does anyone have an insight on these matters?

These are so confusing. I wish they had made this clearer....
