There's no ThinkLight on the X220t or X230t, but you can opt for the backlit keyboard on the X230t.

Thank you for the fast reply. What about ThinkPad X201 Tablet? No ThinkLight too?

Same thing I'm afraid, just doesn't really work with the tablet chassis.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to fit a x230's backlit keyboard unto a x220i?

Does it exist a X201 backlit keyboard, which use on X201 Tablet?

I am considering replacing my X201 KB with a X201 backlight KB.

The X230 and X230T offer a backlit keyboard as a $20 option. I just ordered one to replace my 2 year old X201T.

I've read all the controversies about the new island keyboard and new keyboard layout, but I think the backlit keyboard will be better for me than the 7 row keyboard. As I read the concerns about losing the 7 row keyboard, I've realized I NEVER use Break, SysRq, ScrLk, Pause, Page back, and page forward. In addition I read in the blog.Lenovo.com area that you can still access some of those functions with Fn+letter combinations.
