Another X301 wireless problem

I posted early about wireless being slow to reconnect on my X301 after suspend/resume. I got it to work quickly by uninstalling Lenovo Access Connections and the Intel management software, and relying on Windows to manage the wireless.
However now there is a new, worse problem. Often (like maybe 1 time in 5), when the computer resumes, there is no wireless connection at all, it says "No connections are available" down in the notification area. The only way I can make it find the connection again is to go into the device manager, and disable the driver, and re-enable it again.
By the way the driver is Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN version 12.4.1.4.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance...
