If I run Lenovo Update and Drivers the response is "No packages applicable to your system were found."
If I run Win7 Updates there is 1 Optional with this report:
"Lenovo - Display - ThinkPad Display 1280x800
Download size: 28 KB
You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.
Update type: Optional
Lenovo Display software update released in April, 2012"
Conventional wisdom from this forum has been to only take revisions from Lenovo.
Any recommendations?
X200 Win7 update differs from System Update
Re: X200 Win7 update differs from System Update
I think you can also download the latest monitor driver from Lenovo's website.
But yes, updated versions are not generally listed for elder models.
However, I don't see much point updating it except to bump the revision number. It's not like that it'd increase the resolution or make the colours more accurate by installing a newer version. It's probably more to support newer models. I guess.
Cheers.
