Help on identifying Touch screen type on x220t

I just bought a x220t from the outlet. it's refurbished from model 42994cu. i haven't open the box yet. How can i tell if
the screen is multi-touch or outdoor without opening the box and turning the machine on?

would appreciate any advice. thanks.
