X201MotherBoard into X201Tablet?

It is the first post
I have a X201 tablet.
We want to replace the motherboard because it is equipped with a less powerful CPU.
X201Tablet motherboard does not come out around too much.
Is it possible I'd like to replace the motherboard of the X201?

Bios is common ,x201,x201s,x201i,x201t.

I think you can fit in X201 MB into X201T with moderate modifications, as it has been reported to be possible for the reverse direction.
BUT, you will very likely be unable to use tablet functions anymore, because X201 MOBO would probably not have connector for WACOM IO board, which is in a form of a seprated daughter card attached to LCD module by a cable...going the reverse direction wouldn't be a problem because X201 doesn't have a Tablet IO board to miss in the first place, but as for X201T, it is a major drawback.
If you want X201 MOBO in yout X201T and still want to keep the tablet function, it's going to be a tough task. I'd just recommend you getting a X201T MOBO with more power instead.
