x200s failed to show display

#1 Post by sco1984 » Thu Dec 06, 2012 2:10 am

Hello,

Since today morning I am facing some weird issues with my X200s 7469-A41 notebook.

Summery as follows :-

- Tried to start, No display on screen, Saw "Z" led how ever and power LED
- Removed RAM's swapped etc [ No problem found ]
- Removed HDD, Battery etc.
- Removed upper body
- Disconnected CMOS cell connection
- Now started notebooks & saw BIOS error + Intel ME un configuration screen for 1 minute or so.
- Fixed back CMOS cell connection & fixed back body
- Now whenever I start notebook I see "Intel ME configuration" screen at start splash screen, it says few Intel ME config fails and then I see OS boot loader.
- I am having latest BIOS firmware already.

What can be the issue?
Is it time to change CMOS cell? The 1 packed in yellow plastic?
Pls suggest.

Regards,
Amey.
