Is dock station for X200 compatible with X200s? Are batteries?
Are dock/batteries compatible with anything else? X201? Tablets (with t suffix)?

I own an X200 and I would like to buy another one, but I'm thinking if I could get an X200s/X201 instead.

Is X201 is even an upgrade over X200, if one values silence and battery life? Rise of TDP from 25W to 35W looks like a downgrade to me. Many sources show that post-core CPUs are power-hungry, as well.

Batteries for X200[s]/X201[s], i.e., non-tablet series, are identical. Docking station is common to all, including tablet versions.

Great, thanks! Then, they changed all that with X220, right?

Do you have an opinion whether X201[s] can be considered better than X200[s]?

Correct, the X220 and X230 use new batteries/docking stations, though they are interchangeable with each other.

A X201 would be better, but IMO only marginally so. Unless you're looking for a X201s, I'd recommend a X220.
