Finding a good screen for X200s in the UK

#1 Post by kotta93 » Mon Jan 28, 2013 2:08 pm

I need to replace the screen for my X200s, but figure if I'm going through with making the upgrade then I should spend a bit more for something higher quality.

Problem is, the HV121WX4-1xx are too expensive to ship from America on ebay, and £100+ from UK sellers. Are there any good deals around?

Thanks.

Which screen does your X200s have? If you've got the WXGA LCD, you can buy this LCD, which should be a drop in replacement and it's only £70 at the current exchange rates. You'd need to cut the touch surface off with a razor blade and the screen is glossy, which means glare at times, but the screen itself is quite nice. I personally bought my screen from that seller and had no trouble with it, but as always, YMMV. Good Luck.
