I'd like a super light and thin sleeve for my X220 6 cell.

Can anyone recommend a super thin sleeve for an X220 6 cell, i'd keep the power supply seperate. The sleeve doesn't have to offer any shock protection, just be thin, snug fitting, keep dust out and any water resistant capabilities would be a bonus.

Regards

Check this thread: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=107061

As mentioned in there, I have a Targus case that fits the 6 cell snugly. ThinkGreen reports that a Kraun KR.5s fits well, too. Both of these look like neoprene sleeves, not sure if they're too thick for your liking. The red and black ones on eBay are thinner from what I recall.

How thin are you looking at? I think the folks at sfbags.com make a thin sleeve but I'm not sure about the sizing (and they're pricey). For what it's worth, the waterfield sleeves are a lot thicker than the Targus sleeve I have.

Good luck in your search!

Have you tried making one? Some old Levi's cut to custom fit then bonded together with fish wire and then applying Bee's Wax on the denim?
