I have two X201 Thinkpads, a 3249CTO with Win7 Home 32bit and a 3626AT2 with Win7 Pro 64bit.
Can I simply swap the hard drives, or will I need to re-activate Windows?

Re: swapping hard drives
You should be able to swap without any problems. I swapped a T61 into a X201 without any hassle. After the swap, Win 7 loaded a few drivers and away I go.

Re: swapping hard drives
Thanks.
I did the swap and there was no problem at all, just an extra reboot after the new drivers installed.
