X220 shuts off on it's own

#1 Post by geekor » Tue Mar 05, 2013 2:37 pm

I have a year and 3 months (yes warranty over :( ) X220 that is now just turning off on it's own. Nothing in the Event viewer and Toolbox has it passing all tests.

Not sure what is happening. the only thing I could possibly find is overheating? How do I check for this?

Thanks!

Haven't used it myself, but supposedly the Speedfan applet will show you temperatures. Anything approaching 100 deg. C would be suspect.
