I have a 320Gb HDD 2,5" in a HDD box support 3.0.
The read/write speed on my PC on 3.0 port is 60mb/s
But my thinkpad x220 on 3.0 port is 30mb/s (like a 2.0)
My x220 use win 8 64 Bit, I've installed
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... y210ww.exe but no used.
what happened to my USB 3.0 port

Welcome to the forum.
Is the USB3 controller detected in the Device Manager (you should have an xHCI device there)?
Make sure the cable is firmly plugged all the way into the USB3 port (unplug and replug).

yes I'm sure. May be the controller don't detect. On my PC, it has "USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller" but my x220 is just recognize as "Mass storage device"

where can I get this controller ??

From the looks of it, your X220 doesn't have a USB3 port. Not all of them do (only the Core i7 models).

If your X220 has the i7 Intel CPU and USB 3.0 support, then try installing the driver you linked to in the first post in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. I know this works for several other Windows 7 drivers when used in Windows 8.
It might be a good idea to uninstall that driver that you previously installed first.
