I just lost audio on my X200 running Windows 7. I turned it off and came back hours later and no sound. No sound from the headphone jack or speaker. I tried from a Linux Mint usb as well and no sound.
Windows 7 doesn't show that the drivers are missing. I can still see the audio and volume settings so it's as if the sound is muted. I checked the speaker power connection and it's not loose. I've of course have pressed the mute button on/off to make sure it's not that either.
Anyone have any ideas?
UPDATE: I solved the problem. For anyone that comes across this and has a similar problem, here's what I did: I unplugged/replugged the I/O card's ribbon cable that connects to the motherboard.
Previously, I just unplugged/replugged the ribbon cable that connects to the I/O card. There is now audio coming from the headphone jack and speaker.
