Hi,

Thanks for your help. However, my problem is that I can't boot at all. It just hang after the message. I tried pressing F1, F11 & F12 and even Thinkvantage button upon power on but nothing happens.

Easiest option is just to press the ThinkVantage button as soon as the machine is turned on. If you wait a few seconds it will be too late and you'll already be booting off the hard drive.

Hi,

I tried many times. In fact I had done recovery before so I am sure I hit the Thinkvantage button correctly. I tried everything. Change hard drive but still the same thing. If only I could get in to Recovery mode. Thnks.

Remove the hard drive, put in another one (new if possible) and reinstall W7 from scratch.
Obviously your current HD (and the replacement you mentioned earlier) have the same bad (illegal?) Windows on it.
