I reformatted my X301 with a fresh install of Windows 7. System Update worked a treat and installed power management, access connections etc. A hardware issue (don't ask) meant I needed to start the reformat again. This time System Update is not finding Access Connections or the Power Manager or god knows what else. The volume overlays have also not been found.
I've reformatted this laptop and others of the same model half a dozen times over the years. This has never happened before.
Any ideas? I don't want to have to reformat a third time :/
System Update no longer finding all applications
Re: System Update no longer finding all applications
Windows Update installed some updates, and now System Update has found Access Connections and the Power Management stuff. Wierd but problem sorted.
