x220 Intel 6205 issues

So the fleet of x220 started to act weird the past 2 week. Randomly disconnect to wifi in office, at home, star bucks, iphone tether, etc. My users also travel out of the country a lot and past 2 week has been a nightmare.
Wireless signal randomly change from full to 2 bar or 1 bar, even next to an AP itself.
Office Wifi - Airport Extreme & Express
Home - Linksys E4200 / E4500, I swapped some to WRT54G
Unknown wifi at starbucks, hotels, mcdonald, etc.
Verizon Jetpack Mifi / iPhone wireless share
What I have tried
-Remove software (uninstall and remove from device manager)
-New image with previously validated drivers
-System update using lenovo's driver
-Download newer version from intel's site
What I'm waiting to try
-FRU 60Y3241 - The Wireless BGN Card - Centrino Wireless-N 1000 - On Order, waiting for it
-A full clean windows 7 install, brand new image
-Swapping card with a x230 with working 6205 wireless
-Find a linux on usb to test wireless
Also does the 2nd mini pcie slot only work for msata ? I plug in a 2nd wireless card and it does not detect it..
Any other recommendation ?
