Don't see a reason why it shouldn't work, it's just larger.

BUT I tend to think that those Chinese adapters are of bad quality ("too cheap"). I'd be extra careful to select a good quality one as it may eventually cause data corruption and such.

This kind of adapter i find available in my country : 100 RON means aprox. 31 USD , i see other chinese adapter more cheaper than that, i think the quality of this adapter is preaty good ..
maybe someone have or use an adapter like this, and ca share with us their impression !!

Although it might work, the price of that drive would have to be VERY good indeed. I'm not sure how it is in Europe, but at least here in the states, the 1.8" SSDs are pretty reasonable. 128Gb Samsungs can be found regularly at well below $100 USD. Although, it's kind of a one time thing, I just bought an Intel 320, 160Gb from someone locally for $50. I'll use it to upgrade my X301 from the current 128Gb Samsung.

I think, I'd wait and see if I could catch a good deal on a regular 1.8" drive.
