I tried a wifi card and it was not recognized, it is only for msata ? or do I need to do something to make another wireless card work ?

I do know that WWAN cards and mSata SSD's work in that slot.
As for wifi cards; if I remember right you need a modded BIOS are you need one of the whitelisted cards. Besides that I don't know if that slot will ever work with wifi cards.
But besides that: why would you want to run two wifi cards and how do you plan on getting any antennas overthere? Use the WWAN antennas?

We been having issues with the intel 6205 wifi card, was hoping to run 2 so in case the 6205 doesn't work, something else will. Basically our sales people travel from US to asia, south America, etc and sometimes we find the wifi just do not connect, hotel people can barely troubleshoot those. I have connect the x220 wifi card on the wwan antenna and it works well, just not the slot.
I end up swapping out of the 6205 and some users have one of those micro usb wireless adapters so we have a few options for connecting
