x201 screen upgrade options

Hi all,
The TN panel in the x201 is awful, I've been looking at tracking down an x220t with an IPS panel, However would prefer to keep the x201 and replace the screen if possible (as coreboot is now compatible with the x201)
I've seen here that someone has done a FHD IPS panel upgrade;http://thinkpads.kr/xe/index.php?mid=RE ... srl=173817. However the post is in korean, and I'm having trouble understanding which panel he used and whether the upgrade has any reduced functionality (backlight control?)
I've also read there is a AFFS CCFL panel upgrade for the x201, however I really want to retain led backlighting, would I still get backlight control with a LED kit from http://www.lcdparts.net/LB.aspx ?
Otherwise anyone know if a WXGA+ IPS 12.1" 16:10 Led Backlit LCD panel exists?
