Could someone explain the X200 to me?
Could someone explain the X200 to me?
I'd like a small thinkpad a bit bigger than the S10 Ideapad. Could someone explain the X200 to me? It seems like there are different configurations, but I can't seem to find these details. I see the X200 with its screen practically detached. Do they all do this?

X200 is available in a couple variations: X200, X200s and X200 Tablet. The X200 and X200s really look the same; a normal 12" widescreen laptop. The Tablet is what you might be looking at if the screen is twisted or folded back against the keyboard.

There's some photos of the X200 series systems, along with the specs of selected configurations.

If what you mean by "bigger" is that you want more "real-estate" on the screen, then pay attention to the X200s screens -- all are 16x10 (vs. the current trend of 16x9), but some X200s models (and only X200s models) have the higher resolution of WXGA+, i.e., 1440x900 resolution, albeit that also means no camera and no internal WWAN antennas (but antennas can be added).Olwe wrote:I'd like a small thinkpad a bit bigger than the S10 Ideapad.
