bios upgrade

downloaded and burnt bios upgrade but computer wont find bios file
i used a DVD instead of a CD is this my problem ?
x200 tablet
x61t and t61p

May I ask how you burned it? You shouldn't just move the file to a CD. Depending on the software you use, you will need to look for an option to burn an ISO image.

Normally updating the BIOS via CD is the safest approach, it's pretty easy too. It will ask you to have the laptop connected to an AC adapter and have a fully charged battery.
