X220 vs T430 screen

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting a newer model Thinkpad. My past couple have been in the X series and like the portability. For my next one, I wanted a nice bright hi resolution screen. I've been considering the X220 or the T430. Which has the better screen (objectively and subjectively)? Should I be looking at other models also (in the same price range)?
Thanks.

In terms of screen options X220 is the same as X230 and T420 is the same as T430.
X220/X230 have only HD (1366x768) screens, which can be in TN (standard) or IPS (high contrast, wide viewing angles) variants.
T420/T430 can have HD (1366x768) or HD+ (1600x900) screens, but only TN.
So X-series may have better quality screens, but T-series offer higher resolutions.

Thank you very much. That is very helpful. So I'm leaning towards the X220 with the IPS.
I have seen a few for sale listings locally (craigslist of course) and these models are similar in price (don't know which screen on the X220).
I wish I could do a side by side comparison.
Does anyone have both and would post a picture?

Depending on your budget you might want to look at the T440s or T440p, which offer a 1080p IPS LCD, though have the trackpoint setup.
