Anything to be aware of on these im looking at picking one up for diagnostics work which my t61 of similar spec was excelellent at until it was stolen. I was perpetually worried about the gpu failing though

No known issues AFAIK.
I use an X200s (7466-3JU) with LED WXGA+ (1440x900) for traveling.
Excellent machine, with about 5Hrs. on a (used) 6-cell battery.

160 gb hdd
3gb ram (why not just go to 4 ill never know)

Mt X200 was excellent, though the fain was a little noisy until I replaced it. It was probably just bad luck.

as a matter of course ( unless it has warranty stickers on it) ill be replaceing the thermal paste with as5 and lubing the fan anyway

Only problem I came across on an X200 is that it had a finiky WiFi switch that would toggle radios on and off intermittently. My guess that this is due from the previous owner.

Otherwise they are solid.

the display is pretty bad. can be replaced with a better one, though.

well my x200 has landed its a 7458-5NG. looks brand new and battery has 19 cycles (2009 vintage)
