Is there a line input functionality in X200?

I have been able to connect a Lavalier microphone to the red-marked mic input of my ThinkPad X200, but I couldn't make it work as line input (connect an output of studio mixer for recording).

Should mic in have a line in functionality? I think that's the case in desktop computers, but I was told that laptop manufacturers cut corners here.

I've recently exchanged my X200 for X200s, haven't checked with it, but I supposed the situation is the same with it?
