X220 Slow Touchpad

Aside from the normal mouse options under Windows 7, is there any way to increase the speed of the X220 touchpad? It takes me almost three passes of the touchpad to go from bottom left to top right of the tiny screen. I am not sure if it is because my touchpad surface is worn down or what, but I would definitely like to know if there is some kind of "aftermarket" kind of way to increase the touchpad speed. For reference, my fiance's T430s touchpad speed is much faster at the max settings. Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question, but do you have the UltraNav drivers installed? Those give you a lot more options beyond what just comes with Windows.

That is a fair question, my fault for not clarifying. I do have UltraNav installed and under Touchpad options -> Pointing, I don't really see any way to modify the cursor speed. Maybe I'm missing something? The Momentum/Glide option may ease my troubles a bit, but ideally I would not have to use that since it makes it kind of difficult to control. Using the T430s makes me long for a faster touchpad on my X220, but maybe it's just not possible. Does anyone else feel that the X220 touchpad is somewhat slow besides me?

From the control panel access Mouse properties and select the Pointer Options tab. Use the "Select A Pointer Speed" slider to slide to Fast position. When I do this the mouse will sweep the entire screen on a single swipe. Hope this helps.

I have mine set to fast - do you have "Enhance pointer precision" on? Without it, it is a little faster, but skips around a lot more unfortunately so I keep it on.
Is your touchpad surface pretty well worn/smooth? Mine is pretty smooth in the middle, and I am not sure if that is contributing to the slowness or not. Thanks for your input!
