Hello everbody,
I recently upgraded from my x61 to an x201s.. I noticed that the output of the audio is much lower then the x61.
All the settings are at max in my volume control.
Drivers are updated.
Is this known from this model?
Any idea's for improving this would be welcome..
thanks alot!

Maybe because the x201s has only one speaker?

Hi actually I meant when listening with headphones... there is a big difference..
I see you have a x201s as well how does the headphone volume compare to the others? Especially the T61?
thanks!

That's because the X201 has a utterly crappy soundcard. Even cheap mobile phones are better. The last ThinkPad with a decent soundcard was the X301.

I'm going for the Native Instruments small 2 output usb soundcard since I will be using it for audio/production..
