Hello,

First, excuse my English spelling and grammar, I'm French,

So today I decided to disassembly my x300 laptop to add thermal paste on CPU because my laptop stop frequently.

And after reassembly my laptop the keyboard is not recognized.

In fact, I think I made a mistake because I first disassembly the keyboard on the wrong side before I found the connector on the mainboard.

I think I have correctly assembly this part but when I press the power button nothing happen.

If I plug the keyboard after connecting the laptop I have the boot screen with lenovo logo and the laptop stop. If I detach the keyboard while the lenovo logo is displaying the laptop continue to boot on windows normaly.

Anybody have an idea on this problem? Is it possible to resassembly this part manualy? Maybe I forgot something or I assembly the connector not correctly?

Moreover, You see on the first picture the "gold lines" on the orange connector and I don't know if these lines must match with the same lines on the grey connector.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Welcome to the forum.
In all the years I have worked with laptops, I have never disassembled the keyboard cable.
Big mistake!
My guess is that the film-contacts do not match the keyboard contacts (see 1st picture).
Try to dis/reassemble it again, being very careful in aligning the contacts.
If still no go, you'll need another keyboard.
