Hi everyone!
So i was wondering about something . When i play games in flash or even videos in flash the performance is not very good , the playback is not smooth . For example if anyone has an x200 and could try to play a flash game , the movement is not smooth , for example 8 ball miniclip pool . I'm wondering if this is a problem with the OS and may need to downgrade to windows 7 x64 or a problem with not being powerful enough the laptop to handle a simple flash game?
I have tried also chrome and same thing happens . The movement is choppy and not smooth as it should . Isnt x200 a powerful laptop for this kind of tasks since it can handle hd movies really good ?
Thanks everyone!

Do you have all the appropriate and up to date drivers? Try reinstalling the graphics driver and flash. Other than that, have you scanned your computer for any viruses?

Hi shak3800. I just happen to have my x200tablet right in front of me now. It has a low-voltage SL9400 1.86 GHz processor, 4gb RAM, and is running W7 64-bit. I actually am using it in tablet mode with One Note at the moment. I unplugged it and ran a youtube (YT) video in full-screen. It started out a little juddery as YT did an auto resolution search. Once it found a resolution, "Auto (720p)" it began to play smooth. I even moved the cursor around the screen which invokes the time bar on the bottom of screen (usually causes lags in video playback in some older laptops in my experience) and my x200tablet did not lag. I then moved the cursor around and clicked on the little gear wheel which brings up the submenu for controls such as "annotations" etc. No lag still. Not sure about flash games but I do have Steam installed for some occasional low-req games (e.g., Lumines, Plants vs Zombies, and Zuma Deluxe). I played Lumines for awhile and it works okay on full-screen.
A new update to flash seems to have just rolled out so you may want to check your version against the latest one. I am quite skeptical that this is the case as my x200tablet has been running without a hitch (YT videos and my schoolwork) despite my occasional lapse in checking updates on my part... I disable most auto updates as I favor manually doing them myself. Have you run a malware scan? Virus scan? Does task manager show high usage on idle? How are your temps? Does your x200 have a relatively large number of programs installed? How many programs do you have to auto-update? I know there were instances when it seemed Firefox behaved oddly while it was set to auto-update. You may want to check your settings. Good luck!

Hello . It seems internet explorer was using the lag on flash. With chrome there isn't any lag at least nothing I can notice , so I guess problem is solved . I was thinking that it may be an os problem but it didn't look like logical too me , since it happens only with flash. I will just use chrome from now on

Actually it seems to be a problem with flash x64 in general, because i'm using IE X64 and chrome latest version which is in x64. After downloading firefox (it uses flash 32bit) the gameplay in flash games has no lag at all
